Study On The Protection, Restoration And Utilization Of Vegetation Plan On Urumqi Xishan Water Source Protection Area

The security of drinking water is very important to our society.Human beings can not survive without water. The protection of drinking water source is the inevitable fate we should accept and face. The vegetation environment in arid and semi-arid of northwest district water protection area is difficult to achieve the requirements such as control water source, water conservation and water resources objectively requires security in the region in ecologically. Undering the guidance of the principle of sustainable development, through appropriate human intervention can protect and recover the vegetation in water source area, for further improving the composition of vegetation, increasing biodiversity and the heterogeneity of landscape, strengthening the ecological functions.It playing a more important role in the forest's water absorption benefits and prevention soil erosion. It eventual realized the protection of the water resources.The dissertation first makes a research on the basic protection and restoration of vegetation theories, then on several theories and methodology of the fundamental research of domestic and foreign country; Analyzing the northwest arid area special ecological environment vegetation type.Basing on analysis of characteristics and problems of water source in Xishan area of Urumqi, expounding on how to divide the water protection area into two levels, analyzing the supply and demand balance of water resources, planning the vegetation of Xishan water source protection area.The article is divided into five parts: The first part, the overview of drinking water source protection area; the second part, the overview of protection, restoration and utilization of vegetation; the third part, the content of this study, research methods and processes,the purpose of this study, the research value; the forth part, the planning designing of protection, restoration and utilization of vegetation on Urumqi Xishan water source protection area; the fifth part , conclusion and discussion.The innovation of this dissertation is that: useing different ways , such as document , on—the—spot investigation, logical analysis, to investigate and analyse the current situation of Xishan water source protection area. A division of the ecological and economic functions of natural plants in the protection area was made on the basis of field investigations of the protected areas of natural wild plants; it point the view that protect and restore natural vegetation mainly; the promotion of natural vegetation to restore self-oriented, supplemented by the concept of renewal through the process of vegetation recovery and reconstruction planning; it highlight the native plants and water-saving plants as the main choice in the principle of vegetation in the reconstruction planning; it pay attention to the biodiversity and the expression of landscape optimization through the construction plan of vegetation and landscape protection in the area of protection of water sources.The breakthrough and the research significance of this article is the application of native-plant and the Selection of Plants, vegetation arrangements under this special natural ecological environment.And expect that it can provide the model basis for the protection restoration and utilization of vegetation in XinJiang water sources though this research..
