About The Products Of Characters

We have talked about the products of irreducible characters in this thesis. When the products of irreducible characters are irre-ducible,there are several simple cases, we will discuss them in the introduction.Faithful irreducible characters play an important role in the studying of products of characters. In chapter 2, we have proved a theorem in terms of faithful irreducible characters; in chapter 3, we have explored groups of central type and properties of its characters.As the products of irreducible characters are reducible, in chapter 4, we have studied the effects ofη(x),the number of nonprincipal irreducible constituents of X(X|-), on the properties of groups.
