For numerous numerical calculus and simulations, the first question we faced is how to mesh the objects. It is one of obstacles which restrict the development and application for some numerical method. The efficiency and precision of numerical methods are always impacted by the quality of target meshing. So the modeling and meshing of complex targets become more and more important. The methods of meshing for MoM and FDTD have been discussed in this thesis by using two different CAD software. Some electromagnetic numerical methods and their respective meshing requirements are introduced at first in this thesis. The MoM of is discussed in the third chapter. The impedance matrix is derived by using the triangular current vector basis function with electric field integral equation(EFIE). 3DS MAX is used for the modeling and auto triangular meshing of the calculating targets for MoM. The process and characteristic of Delaunay method have been also introduced. In chapter four, two meshing method for FDTD by using AutoCAD are discussed and optimized by using Octree method to improve the meshing efficiency.
