The main work in the paper is composed with three portions: the first portion presented an investigation into the effect of the change of environment temperature on equivalent Young's modulus, Poisson's ratio and Shear modulus of single-walled carbon nanotubes, based on molecular structure mechanics; utilzing molecular structure mechanics and shell model, the Bulk modulous of carbon nanotubes in different environment temperature, subjecting to the external pressure were described in the second portion; based on molecular structure mechanics, with the fact that all the load applied on carbon nanotubes were ultimately born by the chemical bonds, the third portion gave the critical tensile force and ultimate strain of carbon nanotubes under axial loading.
