Geographical Information System (GIS) is a spatial information system which is in charge of collecting, storing, managing, analyzing and describing data that are related to the earth surface and spatial information distribution. High-performance and high-efficiency space information system provide strong development of computer hardware, server clusters, owing to its high cost-effective features, are widely used, with reasonable platform structures and the organization being the key. This paper firstly introduces the integration of Geodatabase and ArcSDE technology which develops spatial data storing and improves management efficiency. Then, it provides the Multi-storey structure model of WebGIS basing on Java technology, which solved the inquiry problems between heterogeneous platforms. In the final part, this paper discusses the application of the cluster software Rocks to build and manage high-performance processing power server, which improves spatial data for the parallel performance and transparency, and then analyses the test results briefly.Research indicates that using geographic information systems, with server clusters as a model, will effectively improve the spatial data query performance and parallel computing power.
