There are a lot of mountains and earthquakes in our country. Inevitably, they will bring a lot of slope problems related to earthquake. Especially when the Great Development of the West was implemented, there are quite a number of geotechnical Engineering will be built in the strong motion area. Seismic stability of rock and ground slope problem is becoming more and more remarkable. During the long term of the slope stability analysis, how to accurately consider the function of the earthquake and find a practical economic design method still puzzled engineering field up to now. By far, there are a few researches on this subject in China. The Earthquake Resistance Design of slope is still at a stage of experience ,which badly affect the reliability,economic and scientific property of the design. So, the slope dynamic response,the mechanism of out of stability and slope stability estimation under seismic excitations should be further studied. This study can not only impel the development and innovation of slope stability theory under seismic excitations, but also can provide decision-making,plan and construction technical assistance for geotechnical Engineering construction. Scope and production studied in the paper as follows:1.Researched slope dynamic response with shaking table model test, discussed the problems such as Dynamic Similitude Law and the treating of boundary condition etc. Explored the testing technology of researching slope dynamic property and dynamic response with shaking tablel model test.2.Analyzed the factors influencing the slope dynamic property and the principles of slope dynamic response using the result of model test. Available calculation method for numerical modeling were validated and completed at the same time.3.Calculated and estimated the stability and the mechanism of out of stability in the in-situ spot landslide (La Yue Landslide) under seismic excitations using the Finite Difference Time-history analysis method that has been validated and completed.4.Studied the factors such as slope height,slope grade,slope shape and the incidence angle of seismic waves etc, that will influence the slope dynamic response and stability under seismic excitations.Several suggestions which have practicing engineering significance were putted forward.
