There are some forms of dynamic loading that well-aquifer system endured, such as the effect of seismic waves, and the co-seismic response of underground water level and temperature can directly incarnate it. Mechanisms study of the co-seismic response will be favor of understanding the interrelation between the transmission of underground fluid and the force of aquifer enduring. This paper used the data collected in Fluid Observation Net in China, comparing the co-seismic changes of water level and temperature variation in wells (springs) in the mainland of China, caused by the December 26, 2004, Ms8.7 earthquake of Sumatera in Indonesia. We singled out two kinds of universal co-seismic response, water level oscillating-temperature descending and both water level and temperature double stepping. We provided reasonable mathematical and physical models after studying the response mechanism, and checked up the models by simulation. The result of simulation displayed following: A) Seismic waves can cause water level oscillating and temperature descending, because of the mixing of well water with different temperature. And the recover of water temperature was the process of static heat exchange. B) The contemporary stepping of water level and temperature after seismic waves, may be caused of the distortion of aquifer medium, which would lead to changes of fluid flow and velocity. We simulated the well temperature by using the former theories, the mathematical and physical model is applicable in somewhere, and the model will help to further researches of the connection between seepage field and temperature field.
