Impressive potential productivity is expected in the lacustrine carbonate of the lower section of Es1 formation in Qikou slope through peer exploration. Lack of thoroughly studying on reservoir geologic characteristics, many difficulties in reservoir evaluation and favorable zones forecast are presented. Based on the theories of carbonate sedimentology and petroleum geology, strata distributions, sedimentary facies and distributions, reservoir diagenesis, pore evolution, the reservoir development controlling factors, and favorable zones forecast have been comprehensively studied by means of advanced analyze and test technology such as core description, cast analysis, mercury penetration test, SEM analysis. The main contents and conclusions of this dissertation are as follows:1. Through guiding bed, lithology and electric properties analysis, four members of the lower section of Esl formation was classified and compared.2. The carbonate deposition of the Esl formation lower section can be classified into shore-mere and semi deep-deep lacus facies. Also, its depositional model and distribution regularity were discussed.3. Grain limestone and dolomitic limestone were developed in the Bin1 member. Dolomitic limestone, grain limestone, dolomite and coccolith limestone were developed in the Ban4 member. Biolithite and dolomitic limestone were developed in the Ban2 and Ban3 members.4. The diagenesis mainly includes compaction and pressolution, cementation, denudation, packing action and dolomidzation. Cementation was classified three times and damaged most primary pore. Two times of denudation took place. The second time, burial denudation provided so a lot of emposieu and improved reservoir quality. However, packing action filled up a part of emposieu.5. According to the characteristics of rock types, pore types, pore structure and physical property, the signification of coccolith limestone was studied and the carbonate reservoir was classified into four types.6. By studying the influences to reservoir development of deposition, diagenesis, tectonism, the regularities of reservoir distribution was found and favorable zones was forecasted.
