The investigate section locate in the north of the Qinhai-Tibet platean, and this zone is the region of the west line of transferring water from the south to the north. The Bayan H a r orogenic belt lie in this area. The paper is base in regional geology and deep structure. And the text combine the character of deep part physical geography study on cause of formation through analysis of the structure basin-mountain on upper reach of the Yellow River, the character of planation surface and terrace.The way of main tectonic framework in the investigate section is northwest. This way decides the aspect of stratum in this area. The northwest structure is overlayed by northeast structure. The gravity anomaly in this zone is divided into west part and east part. The isoline of east Part rank form south to north and the west part rank from east to west. The strike of residual gravity anomaly is NWW. The magnetism anomaly show three anomaly belt and the way of these belt are NW. Geophysical anomaly reflect control belt of structure in this section is NW.The Bayan H a r mountain lies in this section. And the list of sedimentation form mostly midst trias and late trias. Basin-mount of the mountain is disparted north Bayan H a r basin, midst Bayan H a r structure belt, Bayan H a r basin and south basin. Upper reach of the Yellow River exist twice planation surface in the west of LiuJiaXia. The terrace of upper reach of the Yellow River at large distributes in river valley that lies in several Mesozoic Era basin and Cenozoic Era basin.Through the analysis to landform and data of elevation in the section the text simulates development of workaround. The promotion of this area goes through three horizons: collision, extrusion, equilibria adjust.
