Iron oxid oxide magnetic nanoparticles with biocompatibility and functional coatings via appropriate surface chemistry approaches have been used for immobilization of cells, proteins, enzymes, antibodies, oligonucleotides and drugs through covalent bonding or adsorption. The surface-modified magnetic nanoparticles have been widely used in biological and biomedical areas such as immobilization of biomolecules; separation of metal ions, cells, proteins, DNA;immunoassay, biochemical analysis and magnetic resonance imaging (MRI)probes. In this paper, through the preparation methods, surface modification approaches and analytical applications of iron oxide-based magnetic nanoparticles, make the magnetic nanoparticles separation have more applications.(1) Under alkalinity condition ,uses method which the co-precipitates to prepared Fe2+ and Fe3+ Ion Mixture, then through adjusts the pH value and Insulating particles intensity to prevented the particles get gathers, and control the particles'dimension in a standard.(2) A thin silica-coating layer encapsulating the bareγ-Fe2O3 nanoparticles was formed by a base-catalyzed hydrolysis and polymerization reaction of tetraethoxysilane (TEOS) in reverse microemulsion. The experimental results show that the structure of core-shell is successfully synthesized and the synthesized MNP has uniform size in diameter and very fine monodispersion in suitable condition.(3) A layer of AEAPS encapsulating the particles with have a layer of SiO2 , then connect the Oligo(dT) with have linked by biotin to the particles with linked by SAv, Construct a paramagnetism RNA separation with can link the target RNA Specificitily, so we can separate and gather RNA effectively.
