Brine resource at the seaside of our country buries underground in form of fluid deposit. It exists in inland salt lake chiefly in solid salt deposit form, also has surface-lake brine and buried-brine.This article first simply recommends general distributing conditions and distributive area physiognomy of seaside brine and inland salt lake brine, concluding beneficial physiognomy for the formation of brine.Secondly, summarize different sedimentary character of the seaside and inland brine distributive areas from respective part. Seaside areas mainly divide into seaside plain and Bedrock harbor seacoast to describe, including sedimentary formation of Quaternary period, the stratum configuration type and deposition characteristic of rock series that containing brine. Sedimentary character of inland brine distributive areas was explained from several aspects such as deposit types, deposit scope and deposit circle.Thirdly, analyze primitive climate change by the deposit record, and sum up three main environmental variation periods of northern brine distributive areas. Finally, discuss various formative patterns according to different environmental background of seaside and inland brine distributive areas. Seaside underground brine mainly has two different origin patterns: brines formed by seawater evaporation model and crybrine theory. Inland brine distributive areas mainly summarize two typical areas Xinjiang and Inner Mongolia.
