Now Hilbert transform (HT), was firstly introduced in seismic data procession, and three instantaneous parameters as well, has been used in seismic data processing and interpretation, and obtained succeed in lithology, lithofacies, and oil-gas recognition and so on. However, common HT is sensitive to noise, and not powerful in antinoise, which leads to affect the effectiveness of the three instantaneous parameters. This paper firstly researches the principle and compute formula of time and frequency domain in detail. Then, some factors are analyzed, such as the length of the Hilbert factor, attenuation, main frequency, first phase and so on. These factors affect the precision of the HT on the compute efficiency and result, and improve the common compute formula of the three instantaneous parameters and stabilization. Thirdly, based on the above analysis, the flow chart of the main parameter that is fast and effective is presented. We compute by theory model and seismic section. By the analyzing and computation, we draw the following conclusions:â‘ The new method can improve efficiency and accuracy of calculation by choosing optimal length of HT factor;â‘¡The paper finds the equivalent relation between frequency, initial phase of seismic wavelet and instance frequency, instance phase in the peak place of instance amplitude for the same seismic signal. Then, we can estimate its main frequency and phase;â‘¢The main-parameter profile can efficiently improve the reliability of seismic explanation of lithofacies and stratum, and enhance the features of weak reflective stratum, which is benefit to lay tracing, and also improve the longitudinal resolution of original seismic record, which is beneficial for flaggy identification and location determination of piching point;â‘£We should make good use of main-parameter profiles and instance profiles, and multidisciplinary analysis and explain their advantages and disadvantages of improving the reliability of seismic explanation.
