Research On The Relativity Between The Numbers Of Mast Cells In Bullfrog's Generation Organs And Reproductive Hormones

The morphologic observation of mast cells in Bullfrog's testis, ovary and oviduct was processed in this research. And the change in numbers of mast cells in these generation organs was studied after being injected ectogenic reproductive hormones. The result demonstrated that:1.The different fixing fluids(Carnoy's liquid and Bouin's liquid) and modified doluidine blue(MTB) staining method were used in this experiment. The cytoplasm of mast cells from the samples fixed with Bouin's fluid was full of mauve grain, but the grain was not obvious in the cytoplasm of mast cells from the samples fixed with Carnoy's fluid. Mast cells mainly distributed in the tunica albuginea, interstitial tissue and ductiuli efferentes of Bullfrog's testis. The mast cells appeared various shapes, such as rotundity, oval, shuttle, abnormity and so on, and their size was inhomogeneous. The mast cells in the ovary mainly existed between ovarian follicles, which appeared rotundity, taper and oval. Mast cells could be seen on the tunica albuginea of ovary, but most of them were oval. The mast cells in the oviduct located in the mucosal membrane, muscle layer and tunica adventitia of oviduct. The shapes and the size of mast cells in oviduct were as well as that of mast cells in the testis. The staining methods, the fixing fluid, the morphological structure, the distribution of mast cells in the Bullfrog's generation organs were discussed simultaneously.2.Bullfrog was injected with three kinds of exogenous reproductive hormones the compound megestrol acetate, the estradiol benzoate and the testosterone proplonat. Contrasting with the control group, the numbers change of the mast cells in the generation organs of male and female Bullfrog injected the reproductive hormones was observed seven days later. The result indicated that, compared with the control group mast cells in the testis of male Bullfrog injected the hormones especially testosterone proplonat increased. And the significant difference existed (P<0.01) . Compared with the control group the numbers of mast cells in the ovary and oviduct of female Bullfrog injected the hormones increased significantly (P < 0.05) . Especially the amount in the ovary and oviduct of female Bullfrog injected estradiol benzoate increased more markedly (P<0.01). The result suggested the numbers of mast cells in Bullfrog's generation organs could be increased by injecting exogenous reproductive hormones. Additionally, the mechanism that how different reproductive hormones affected the numbers of mast cells in the Bullfrog's generation organs was discussed in this passage.
