The Research On Data Of Radar And Lightning Location System In The Field Of Weather Analysis And Forecasting

The research is based on the data of CINRAD products, lightning location system observation information and radiosonde reports of Yichang City. It is mainly concerned with four aspects as it follows:(1) With the help of various CINRAD products the research, mainly from the morphologic point of view makes a deep analysis of weather system and atmospheric state radar echoes include and reflect.(2) Data bank software for application and analysis of CINRAD products has been developed on the basis of (1). The software can be applied to routine work,advanced study and research .(3)The 0-12th thunderstorm potential of Yichang City from May to August can be forecasted by means of decision tree , meanwhile, the prediction accuracy is improved.(4) Experiential index for cloud-ground flash forecasting has been initially abstracted by analyzing the relationship between the intensity of nearby radar echoes at different air temperature and first appearance of lightning.
