The Application Of Symmetry In Teaching Of College Physics

Symmetry is one of the highest rules in nature, and plays a basic role in physics. The method of symmetry is primary in physics even in the whole science research. The general physical laws base on the principle of symmetry, so it is regarded as the higher principles. In physics teaching survey, we find the principle of symmetry is not emphasized enough and even introduced in some physics teaching materials. Though through reforming, some physics achievements and scientific research methods are put forward in some teaching materials, these teaching materials are not mainstream in physics teaching. This essay introduces some primary knowledge of symmetry, and its application in some foreign physics teaching materials, and gives some suggestions.
