The mangrove forest may adsorb or use some pollutant in the sea water and the air, whichdemonstrated it had good environment purification function, and it is an extremely important partservice function of mangrove forest ecosystem.The present paper obtained the GuangdongProvince mangrove forest year pollutant purification ability through the experimental,investigation and material, then used shadow-project approach, reset cost approach, carbon taxrate and so on to evaluate Avicennia marina, Aegiceras corniculatum, Kandelia candel,Rhizophora stylosa's purification value, which contained environment nitrogen and phosphorusremoved value, the heavy metal adsorption value, the carbon dioxide fixtion and oxygen releasevalue, the sulphur dioxide absorption value, and negative effect value of the methane release.The estimate result indicated that: Every year, environment purification values of theGuangdong Province 10065.3 hectares mangrove forest can convert into RMB 40739.25×10~4Yuan, mangrove plant fixtion carbon value for 2947.38×10~4 Yuan, the plant release oxygen valuefor 4545.17×10~4 Yuan, the mangrove forest sediment nitrogen purification value for 26519.6×10~4Yuan, the plant nitrogen absorption value for 67.23×10~4 Yuan, the mangrove forest sedimentphosphorus purification value for 6665.6×10~4 Yuan, the plant phosphorus absorption value for8.29×10~4 Yuan, the mangrove forest sediment's heavy metal absorption value for 983.32×10~4Yuan, the plant heavy metal absorption value for 29.90×10~4 Yuan, the the negative value ofmethane release for 1314×10~4 Yuan. According to analysis of the mangrove forest ecosystemcomponent of purification value, mangrove plant purification value accounts for 18.87%, and themangrove forest sediment's purification value accounts for 81.13%, which indicated systemsediment is the main body that purified the pollutant. Compared with the single item valuequantity, those size orderis is: The nitrogen purifies>the phosphorus purifies>the oxygenrelease>the carbon dioxide fixation>the heavy metal adsorption>the sulphur dioxideabsorption. Value of the front two items quantities for the total quantity 81.13%, which shows themangrove forest environment purification value mainly manifests the sea water nitrogenandphosphorus purification. An important reason that the red tides occurred is the nitrogen andphosphorus's pollution causes the sea rich nutrition, therefore the mangrove forest may reduce occurrence of red tide. The mangrove forest has very important ecology protection significance forthe heavy metal adsorption, because the heavy metals are harmful to the biology, has a long halftime, usually is very difficult to remove in the food chain, but the mangrove plant can fix theheavy metal in special organization and reduce it to transmit in the food chain and concentrate it.The ecosystem purification value of mangrove forest just is a part of ecosystem servicefunction, the mangrove forest ecosystem has a big potential which provides product and servicefor the humanity, and need to know and evaluate it further. Therefore, it is urgent to protect andrestore the mangrove forest, and is not worthe the candle if we destroy the mangrove forest in theeconomical development.
