Tianshan Road is important segment of national highway NO.217 which is maintraffic of connecting North and South Xinjiang region. Tianshan Road also isimportant part of road building in the west and national defence. It is an importantsignificance of ensuring expedite road. After more than twenty years running, thereare many kinds of geological hazards. At present, Tianshan road have been lost itsfunction.This paper research the landslides roundly alone the road on the base ofinvestigation in the scene and collecting. Firstly, this paper summarizes the relation ofthe landslides and landform, physiognomy, structure of slope, geologicalconformation, neotectonic stress field, etc, then emphasizes on the three landslides:K601, K755andK963.Three landslides above are representative in all landslides alone Tianshan Road.This paper researches the mechanism of deformation on the basis of studying naturalgeologic environment condition, basic feature about the landslides, then evaluate thecurrent stability and development tendency by means of limiting equilibrium and FastLaganragri Analysis of Continuum (FLAC3D). In addition, this paper evaluatedsensitivity factors that influence the landslide stability by orthogonal experimentdesign. The analysis of formation mechanism and stability valuation is the foundationof studying landslide. Above all, the author give some suggest on prevention aiming atevery landslide.This paper not only fills the blank of study on the landslide in the Tianshan areabut also provides references to the landslide in the other area.
