The Luo Beiao bittern potassium ore deposit geology condition and develop p otential in Ruoqiang county of Xinjiang are analyzed in the paper. In view of the ore characteristic of the bittern potassium, the mining area has been carried on the geological resources quantity detailed appraisal, and had supplemented the new material which advance the work of predecessor's research. The union mine enterprise's mining utilization craft has carried on the analysis to its resources development. In the face of the national potassium fertilizer resources short situation, author proposed necessity of the developing potassium fertilizer mineral resource and the actual condition.The main achievements of the work as follows:1. Luo Beiao bittern potassium ore deposit belongs to the large-scale minerals, the main ore mineral is KCl, the paragenetic mineral is NaCl, as well have other partner native ores toplant mineral (MgCl2, MgSO4).2. Investigations type is the first(Ⅰ) exploration type, determining the computational method , basis, and principle of section boundary.3. Present the craft of salt field mining, recovery , transportation,and the old halogen discharges.4. Using 4Km×4Km net, economic basis reserves (122b) is 161.6874 million tons, and water reserves 78.6865 million tons; economical resources quantity (333) 10.6666 million tons, water reserves 5.1619 million tons; With net of 12Km×12Km of exploration, the forecast the resources quantity (334?) 94.1989 million tons, water reserves 43.5531million tons. The proportion of High-level accounts is 61.76%. 5. The mining area underground bittern (liquidore) military supplies, runoff, excretion condition has basically verified.6. The underlayer(W2 - W7 orelevel, bearing pressure bittern) halogen water of geology characteristic, the parameter and the distributed rule has been verifed.7. Through the project control, It have solved the ore reserves and boundary problem.8. Through the accurate test of condensing water of the atmospheric precipitation, supplies mechanism is verifed.9. By contrast of the entire hole section core sample and the nature gamma log information analysis, the ore level thickness has divided accurately.
