As we know, complex networks wildly exist in nature and human society, such as Internet, WWW, food networks, neural networks, society networks, science collaboration networks and citation networks. The relationships between topological structure and dynamical mechanism of networks have attracted the attention of scientists since long time ago. A widely studied issue of the dynamical process on complex network is the epidemic spreading. The points that previous scientists mainly focus on are epidemic thresholds and epidemic control. In this work, we mainly study the epidemic diffusion process on networks. We give the definition of epidemic diffusion and we use SIR model to simulate the epidemic diffusion process on complex networks. We find that the epidemic diffusion on complex network is an anomalous super-diffusion with varying diffusion exponent X and X is influenced seriously by the network structure, such as the clustering coefficient and the degree distribution. Numerical simulations have confirmed the theoretical predictions. This paper consists of three parts. Firstly, we introduce the networks' models and dynamical mechanisms on complex networks. Secondly, we introduce three epidemic models and epidemic threshold on complex networks. At last, we introduce the epidemic diffusion process on complex networks.
