With the development of the high-resolution remote sensing technology, more and more attention are paid on the study of processing and applying of high-resolution image, it have already become one of the focus of the remote sensing field. Some scholar put forward a new processing theory: object-oriented, based on the characteristic of the high-resolution image. The new method can extract more fine information from the remote sensing image, and can increase the accuracy of image classification. The research is very useful for the construction and the resume of mine area.This article take Da Cao Iron ore as an example, research the technology of the information extraction from the high-resolution image, have bring forward an work flow of object-oriented method and construct an rule of mine classification from high-resolution remote sensing image, also compare the difference of the new method and the conventional methods. Main content and production are as follows:(1) Research the object-oriented method and the key technology of it, and have proposed a work flow;(2) Research the Multiresolution segmentation. Analyzed the effect of the scale and the segmentation parameter on segmentation result, and select a best scale and parameter of this research by test and investigation. Then construction the class level and class hierarchy;(3) Construct the classification rule of mine area. By analyzing the segmentation image ..select color, shape, texture, density, standard deviation and the relation of objects as the classification characteristic, construct the best classification rule, to produce a high accuracy;(4) Compare the difference of the object-oriented method and the conventional method. The object-oriented have the advantage as follow: it make full use of the spectral information and the space information of the high-resolution remote sensing image, and increase the classification accuracy; Second, the result of the new method is object-level, have a good vision effect.This article apply the object-oriented method on the extraction of mine area Land cover/Landuse information .proposed a work flow; construct a classification rule and get the aim of the extraction of mine area land use/land cover information. My research advance a high accuracy of image classification, achieve my research purpose.
