With the development of the Nuclear Power as a major material of the Nuclear Power Station. Uranium deposits need more than before.The methods of prospecting uranium are made the exploitation of the uranium ore especially in hidden deposits. It is valueable and scientific to do research in hidden volcanic type uranium deposits.This item has been studied in Xiangshan volcanic type uranium ore with geophysical and normal geochemical methods.There are four methods in this item including CR-39 track method,instantaneous radon detection,mutichannel in-situ gama-ray spectrometer survey and normal geochemical method.It is studied in fundamental principles for prospecting hidden deposits,the accuracy of measurement quality,the proceeding of the data,the analysis of the results.A research show that we can get more useful information after making normalization to CR-39 data. The CR-39 track method is the first time area-measurement in China with the Japanese high definition CR-39 track.It shows that this method can detect deeper than instantaneous radon detection, the abnormity is more stabilization and wide.The in-situ gama-ray spectrometer survey are measured in a 50cm deep borehole, because the change of solid angle, so it needs a correction. There are 14 measurement points use both in-situ gama-ray spectrometer survey and HPGe detector measurement.With comparing to the 14 points of these data,We have the follow results: the average error of measurement in this 14 points U is 28.35%,Th is 19.46%,K is 9.16%. So the in-situ gama-ray spectrometer survey is a good method to prospect uranium ore in deeper layer.The Mo,U elements about normal geochemical method have a closely relationship with hidden uranium deposits. It has studied which methods is the most effective about this four methods through compare to drill material.After making compositive interpretation we can find this four method are effective on hidden uranium ore.We have the follow results: CR-39 track method and gama-ray spectrometer survey is better method than geochemical method.
