Plate is a common structure form in the field of civil engineering, mechanical engineering, etc. The plasticity performance of the material can't play effectively in elastic design, and it's economy is poor. So it's inevitable to consider the plasticity development for the plate formed by ductility materials. And confirming the plastic limit bearing capacity of the plate plays an important role in the plastic design. In the plastic limit analysis of circular and annular plate structure, greatest moment condition and Tresca yield criterion are commonly used. But there is greater difference between these yield conditions and actual situation. It is proved that no matter greatest moment condition and Tresca yield criterion are just fit for some special materials with the same tensile and press strength, but for other materials they can't properly reflect the actual situation. Twin-shear unified strength theory can solve this problem well, and it can adapt to every kinds of material, and its subsection linear expression formulae become great convenience in mathematics. The generalized yield condition based on twin-shear unified strength theory inherit its advantage, and it can conduct circular and annular plates formed by any kinds of material, furthermore the results will be more coincident with the actual situation. On the base of twin-shear unified strength theory by Yu MaoHong, the generalized yield condition of circular and annular bended plates is founded in this paper, and under the new yield criterion, the plastic limit analysis of round and ring plates forced by axial symmetrical linear load is carried on, exact and unified solutions of load-carrying capacities, moment fields and velocity fields for sorts of plates in plastic limit states are derived. This paper enrich the plastic limit analysis of round and ring plates, and the solutions are more reasonable.
