The curvature radius of optical sphere is the important parameter to control the optical specialties of optical sphere, which is the significant index to measure machining quality for optical elements during the process of cold working. It is measuring the curvature radius of optical sphere to value the quality of optical elements design and manufacture, in order to improve working and make the elements more accurate. Formerly every type of measuring instruments for curvature radius of optical sphere were produced, most of which were conventional eyepiece instruments, with some limits, such as inefficiencies, low automatic, finite accuracy.With Michelson interference system, curvature radius of optical sphere is measured, which bases on the theory of the complex light's equal thickness interference. In the way of differing light, Michelson system could make true untouched measurement for the curvature radius of optical sphere to avoid damaging optical surface, meanwhile, such could benefit the intersection and orientating of images between measuring optical sphere and referring optical surface. Measurement accuracy could be improved in the way of making full use of 0-class orientating of complex light's equal thickness interference.Digital image auto-measuring system is designed, composite of black-white plane array CCD image gathering and processing system and Moore Optical Grating displacement measuring system by myself, which could deeply study on digital image processing, measuring and identifying methods, concentrating on image info gathering, dual digital and smoothing of image info, image amplifying and clarifying, and size measuring of image info. Accessing circle between Moore Optical Grating displacement measurement and computer could be studied; meanwhile, experiment error could be analyzed. It is the study object to only buse of designing a hi-accurate auto measuring system of curvature radius of optical sphere, which could find an efficient and practical method of digital image info processing in experiment.
