This article take the mineral resource appraisal and education statistics appraisal two actual problems as a background, integrates the modern mathematics theory into the traditional qualitative data statistical analysis method, has conducted the exploring applied research to the qualitative information material processing technology. Have made the improvement to logical information method some contents and the thought, simultaneously has also carried on the optimization to this method some steps, causes it is suits comprehensively in the present mineral resource appraisal . It is widely to use in the mineral resource appraisal question and provided the new mentality to the mineral resource appraisal question. Simultaneously has also analyzed the logical information methodmodeling principle and proposes a this unexpectedly mathematical model. In the new model has introduced the symbol monotonous concept and pointed out a sign the monotony is better, then is bigger to the model contribution, thus enhanced the model to differentiate various ranks characteristic ability and improved the model forecast effect.This article takes the logic information method as the research object ,We even improved and optimized some steps of this method through some virtual research in detail and make it more useful to complicated geological phenomenon, widen its application domain .There are 7 chapters in this article ,the detail is flow.Chapter 1,We bring forward the sense of research on logic information method with all the situations up to now .we take logic information method as the example ,and analyse the modeling principle and sense of every step of logic information method in detail on the purpose of find some appropriate method of picking up the variable. We also get the result of improved mathematical method and relation between single-acting and the nicety to analyse the variable. We also introduce the progress we get.Chapter 2,This chapter introduces the principle and the steps of logic information method. The sequence is just like the sequence of the steps of logic information method , we make a full explanation and instruction of some definition and concept through some example of model. In order to make convenience for the chapters following.Chapter 3, This chapter introduces how to optimize the variable choosing which is the key step of logic information method, we make the double forms into ternate forms of the variable ,"1"stands for true ,"-1"stands for false and"0"stands for missing information , this improved application of the method . We also give some new standard degrees :avail degree and information degree ,avail degree means the degree of the object to some property ,and information degree means whether the information is enough. We analyse the category of the unknown model by building model with the combination of these two degrees.Chapter 4, This chapter introduces how to optimize the connection of the branch map .Branch map is very important to looking for the minimum distinguished symbol combination , how to connect the branches is very important in all the steps of logicinformation method because it takes direct effects on the continuity and veracity of the work follow. The kernel of improved method is getting the the minimum distinguished symbol combination on the left firstly ,and the get the left branches by repeating connecting the same part between the new branches and the former branch.Chapter 5, This chapter introduces how to get the he minimum distinguished symbol combination, we also optimize this step . It is divided into three parts :connecting branches ,checking and getting the branches .In fact the method just including connecting branches and getting the branches, checking is just a key step. Chapter 6 ,This chapter introduces the compared research .We take the resource potential of south of hydrargyrum sheet in Xiangqian as the research model , we build models separately by logic information method and the improved method ,they function in their own steps .At last ,we compare the result and get the advantage and disadvantage of these two methods.Chapter 7, This is the last chapter ,we analyse the progress we get .we also judge the methods fully.
