The Loop Tracking Algorithm In GPS

Global Position System (GPS) is a precise new-generation positioning system promoted. It has various advantages that are unexampled other kind of navigation equipment: high precision, all-weather suitability, and total global coverage. So, GPS receiver is widely used in both military and civil field. In this case, GPS receiver, as one of important part of GPS, is developing rapidly—new technology emerge and upgrade rapidly constantly.In a GPS receiver, loop's tracking is the precondition of the system, and has a great effect on the system's performance. This paper introduces the loop tracking technology of GPS receiver in detail, completes the loop's performance analysis and the algorithm implementation.Experiment has proved that the algorithm can rapidly and stably complete the code's tracking, the receiver obtains better dynamic and noise performance, and the receiver's performance are greatly improved.
