Tuonamu area lies in the Qiangtang basin that is the great petroleum potential in the Tibet. There is a set of only sea Jurassic facies stratum. On the basis of the predecessor study, this paper is guided by the new oil-geology theory and detail research of the stratum and structure. New theory, new technology and new method, such as the recent statigraphy, oil geology, sediment, oil geological anomaly and remote sensing, are applied in the research and study of the oil. Characters of the stratum, structure, source-reservoir-caprock assemblag and space-time are found out. The relative between structure and oil-gas reservoir is studied in this paper. Remote sensing is applied in all process. The main geological borderline, symbol stratum, source-reservoir-caprock assemblag, fault and drape are sought by lithological fillled-map and fine section measurement. Available parts of the oil movement and poll are ascertained by region oil geological anomaly. Each size structural distortion's position, quality, scale, distributing and combined rule, such as drape, fault, joint, structural foliation and lineation, are found out through the base methods of the geometry, kinematics and dynamics. In the side of stratum and sedimentary facies, on the basis of measured section and predecessor study, 12 stratum unit which give us better research means is newly parted. We know sedimentary facies type and substance origin and divide different level sequence through the sedimentary facies analysis. In the side of source-reservoir-caprock assemblag, we divide 3 source-reservoir-caprock assemblag in term of their space-time relation. For example, self-sourced reservoir system of Suowa Formation first member-second member (IV1), self-sourced reservoir system of Suowa Formation third member (IV2) and system of Suowa Formation fourth member-Xueshan Formation (IV3). IV1 is the best assemblag in the area and IV3 is worse. In the side of structure, we analyse each structure and find out better traps on the basis of regional geology. This area includes anticline traps and fault traps. By the field geology survey, data analysis, high-precision collected data, tridimension solid graphs and better layers are mapped through Surfer software. Integrating stratigraphy, lithology and tectonics, we evaluate each structure, array traps and find out the best trap. It may further know relation between traps and oil-gas. The result of choice resemble geological anomaly. At last, we choice the middle of Tuonamu anticline as one of the best traps in the area.In the light of recent stratigraphy, petroleum geology and sediment, Tuonamu area of the Qiangtang basin is perfect room in which Mesozoic stratums steadily distribute, source-reservoir-caprock assemblag is good, structure distortion is little and traps forms are perfect.
