In this paper, some coincidence point theorems for a pair of contractive type mappings and two pairs of expansive type mappings in pseudocompact Tichonov spaces are established. The results presented in this paper generalize the corresponding results of Harinath [1], Jain and Dixit [2] and Liu [6].
