Atmospheric wind is an indispensable meteorological parameter. It is firmly related to social production, life , scientific research and military affairs etc, and countries in the world now pay more and more attention to the acquisition of wind data. Incoherent wind lidar is one of the most advanced wind measurement techniques. It can provide high accuracy and high-resolution wind information, and it is premier choice of space-borne wind lidar.Among the incoherent wind measurement techniques, double-edge technique based on Fabry-Perot interferometers is one the most important one. It utilizes two Fabry-Perot interferometers as frequency discriminator. By measuring the change of signal intensity passing the Fabry-Perot interferometers, the Doppler shift information and hence the wind information can be obtained. The choice of parameters of Fabry-Perot interferometer will affect system performance, so how to choose parameters of Fabry-Perot interferometer to enable to system to get better performance is firstly simulated and analyzed. Effect of Atmospheric temperature,backscattering ratio and other system parameters on system performance is simulated and analyzed. Temperature change of Fabry-Perot interferometer and incidence angle incident on the Fabry-Perot interferometer are two important factors that affect system performance. The effect of these two factors on system performance is simulated and analyzed. Conclusions are as follows: First, setup of locking channel is an effective method to avoid frequency shift of Fabry-Perot interferometer induced by temperature change of Fabry-Perot interferometer. Second, to get an agreeable measuring accuracy, the beam divergence of the laser incident on the Fabry-Perot interferometer should be controlled. The choice of Rayleigh scattering linetype will affect the choice of parameters of Fabry-Perot interferometer, so choice of Fabry-Perot interferometer parameters under two different Rayleigh linetypes is analyzed.The effect of solar background light greatly influence system performance in day...
