Spermatogenesis of scrotum mammal depends on a suitable temperature in scrotum lower than the body temperature. The elevated testicular temperature caused by human cryptorchidism or varicocele disrupts the spermatogenesis and causes infertility. Our previous study showed that the cell cycle was arrested during the transition from mitosis to miosis. All the germ cell types except for spermatogonia underwent apoptosis in rabbit testicle with experimental unilateral cryptorchidism. At the same time the synthesis of CyclinBl and p34cdc2 in spermatocyte was blocked and thus the MPF (Maturation-promoting factors) could not form.A heat-stressed mouse model was constructed in order to characterize the effect of high temperature on dynamic change of the cyclinB1 and cdc2 expression in germ cells. The results showed that there was no morphologic change in the germ cells in the testicular six hours after treated with 42℃ waterbath for 30 minutes. From eight hours to twenty-four hours after treatment, the arrangement of germ cells in the seminiferous tubules displayed...
