The purpose of China Earthquake Simulation Grid Application System is to realize the real time or quasi-real time share of calculation resource, storage resource, materials resource, information resource, knowledge resource and expert resource, to provide a better communication platform for multi-level and different users, such as manager, researcher, predictor and common people etc. The system is based on CEDASGrid(China Earthquake Disaster Alleviation and Simulation Grid), combines the excellent accomplishments and applies these results to the work.The system adopts B/S(Browser/Server) mode , chooses Linux operating system, adopts Apache + Resin as internet service software, uses OraclelOg as background distributed database management system, through the combination of Java +servlet+Jsp, utilizes Unix Shell program, to realize the automatic creation and publication of earthquake information. The user can visit the main window of this program by browser and find the content you care. The system includes the following contents:1. Classification management of usersThe system uses 3-level authority management mode, different user can use different function of the system. Administrator has the highest system authority. They can visit any data module, research and earthquake predictor can do scientific research and analyze earthquake and disaster through application program and relative data product of this network platform. They have higher authority and can visit a majority of data module. Common people also can get information they care through this system.2. Automatic query and upload of earthquake informationThe system collets and arranges the relative materials of the earthquake, includes prompt reporting information,Focal mechanism solution information, history information of this earthquake. When a moderate strong earthquake happens, users have to obtain history earthquake information of this area and relative information of this earthquake.
