As soybean (Glycine max (Linn) Merril) has archean tetraploid chromosomes(2n=40) and belongs to Leguminosae, it is one of the most important resource of plant oil and protein for human beings, many scientist have attached more importance to the genetic soybean. The blue reaction exists in Plants. The functions of light receptor in Arabidopsis were studied by more and more researchers in this field. However we still not know the functions of Cryptochrome in soybean. In order to study the functions of Cryptochrome in soybean, the function of Cryptochrome in soybean from the genotype of transgenic Arabidopsis was deduced by transformed the Cryptochrome gene cloned from soybean into Arabidopsis. Meanwhile, we transformed the Cryptochrome gene which cloned from soybean into soybean in order to study and prove their function in soybean. The following were the results:1 The experiment of soybean Cryptochrome gene CRY1, CRY2 in ArabidopsisThe Cryptochrome genes CRY1, CRY2 were transformed successfully into Arabidopsis which includs wild type col-4, single mutant cry1 and cry2 and many transgenic lines were obtained. The functions of CRY1, CRY2 in Arabidopsis were investigated.CRY1 gene in Arabidopsis inhibites the elongation of hypocotyle and CRY2 regulated the flowering of plants. After having investigated the phenotype of transgenic Arabidopsis, we found that the CRY1, CRY2 gene from soybean have similar function to Arabidopsis, and the effection of CRY1 is stronger than that of CRY2. Therefore we deduced that the function of CRY1, CRY2 genes in soybean is more similar to CRY1, CRY2 gene in Arabidopsis.2 A series technology of soybean tissue culture such as induceing bud from soybean cotyledonary, elongating of the bud, rooting were investigated and a high regeneration efficient system of soybean tissue culture was established. Many high efficient...
