Bailiping silver-polymetaltic mineralize section is located southwardly about50km to Helong city of Jilin province, geographical coordinate is E:128°36′00″—128°57′00″,N: 42°13′00″—42°22′00″.East-west length is11km,south-north width is 5km,the whole area is 55km2.There has been foundBailipingdonggou siver place ,Wangkaigou siver-gold place ,Xinwuchangsiver-gold place and Laosanchang siver place in the mineralize section. anddelineated 8 ore bodies and mineral belts, the prospect of ore prospect is good.The mineralized district lies in the tectonic position of Helong block , NorthChina platform north costae east segment boundary,it lies on western part ofTumen river fracture.It is the important gold,silver-polymetaltic exploring area ineastsouth of Jilin province.It is a part of North China platform north costae eastsegment boundary metallogemetic belt .East west orientation fracture belt in north of Bailiping town andWangkaigou is a section of regional orientation fracture,it is importantpassageway for ores and rocks.A series of north east 50o-60o line fracture.Contact zone position where multiple successive stages of magmation formsgrows mylonization forepart dyke rocks which include diorite porphriite ,grantieporphypy,quartz vein,especially grows such rocks that have a lot ofpyrite ,galena,sphalerite,chalcopyrite.They directly make up of ore or ore-bodyand they are direct symbol.By geochemistry analysis Chalk rocks and dyke rockscan be divided into grantitic rock series and dioritic rock series.Two rock seriesare not continuous production of a magma.they possess certain ore exclusivecharater:granitics rock series has advantages to Ag,Pb,Cu,Zn and dioritics rockseries has advantages to Au,Ag.Compare Sr-Nd Isotopic geochemicalcharacateristics and Nd mode age in Bailiping with similar districtcharacteristics ,the result shows that material sources of Bailiping is the youngermaterical of earth's crust. Hydrogen –oxygen isotopes show that the δO18 is7.21-11.83,average is 9.09, δD is -52.45—-56.46,average is -54.43. The resultindicates that solution is mixed formative which is from originality magma andmetamorphic water .The main metallic minerals are pyrite, galenite, sphalerite, chalcopyrite,and acanthite. The ore body presents as vein and lens, and its type is quartz veinand alterated rocks. Vein-network vein, brecciform, and massive structure are themain structure of mineral-occurring ores. The best positions for enriching silverare quartz-mylonite which growing with pyrite, sphalerite, galenite andchalcopyrite. These zones always form silver and polymetal bonanza.Selfcontained minerals which contains silver are acanthite, and polytelite. Mostof them distribute around the brim of galenite or occur as solid solution withgalenite.Abnormity of Ag is the direct indication element for finding silver orealteration zone, and abnormities of Pb,Zn,Cu,Au are the main accompanyingelements of the ore body. The occurrence of abnormity of Mo indicates the deepdegree of denudation. The high abnormal excitation resistance belt ,highabnormal resistance and polarizability belt ,high abnormal polarizability belton the plane and section are the indirect indications of the occurrence ofmineralizing alteration zone and the deep part of ore body. The conjunct part ofannular structure image and EW-NW linearity structure image is the reflectionand indication of mineralizing concentration of Ag-Au polymetal. The NEdenseness linearity structure which superposing on the conjunct part ordistributing along the tangent of annular structure image is consistent withductile-fragility shear strain metamorphic zone dimensionally. It controls theknown mineralizing belt and ore body and it is the important indirect indicationof remote-sensing geology exploration in Bailiping area.By doing the above researches, the colligating prospecting information andindications of Bailiping mineralization zone are summed up as following:① A great deal of vein rocks such as forepart diorite porphyrite, graniteporphyry and quartz vein distribute in adamellite or the contact zone ofporphyritic granite, which is the concentrate growing zone of mineralization.② When some sorts of mylonitized vein rocks including quartz vein growwith large quantities of pyrite, galenite, sphalerite and chalcopyrite they will formthe ore body or mineralization directly and become the direct indications of theore body..③NE-NEE denseness extrusion crushing tectonic belt which superposed onthe NW extrusion fault controls the distribution of ductile-ragility shear strainmetamorphic zone in the predicting zone. It is the important and main mineralcontaining structure of the predicting zone.④Most of the positions which develop pyritization, sphaleritization,galenitization and chalcopyritization concentratedly are the best positions forenriching silver. Silicification, potash feldspathization, epidotization,chloritization, sericitization and concomitant pyritization form the association ofore body wallrock alteration.⑤ Abnormity of Ag is the direct indication element for finding silver orealteration zone, and abnormities of Pb,Zn,Cu,Au are the main accompanyingelements of the ore body.⑥ The high abnormal excitation resistance belt,high abnormal resistanceand polarizability belt ,high abnormal polarizability belt on the plane and sectionare the indirect indications of the occurrence of mineralizing alteration zone andthe deep part of ore body.⑦ The conjunct part of annular structure image and EW-NW linearitystructure image is the reflection and indication of mineralizing concentration ofAg-Au polymetal.Based on the colligation of the prospecting information and indications,three class I target areas (I1—I3) and one class II target area ( II1) has beendetermined in Bailiping-Wangkaigou silver mine where there is advancedgeological work..
