The original sand bodies of stratum trap are direct result ofthe sediment environment. The similar sedimentary rocks are formedin similar environment. The analysis of the modern sediment is oneof the good methods that are used to study the old environmentsof sediment. There are many factors that influence the sedimentphenomenon and sedimentary micro-faces characteristic.Structures landform climate type of water area and thefashion of the water mixture are the important facts thatdecide the deposited model and sedimentary micro-facescharacteristic.According to the fact that the sandbody is formed in the shallowfluvial deltaic sendimentary envirement ,we have observed thedeposited model and sendimentay microfaces characteristic ofBuha river bird-foot shape delta, which belongs to the buildingstyle delta and include deferent microfaces such as branch channel ,abandoned channel, crevasse channel and so on, As a result ofdifference of deposited envirement, the formed sandbody showsdifferent sendimentary characteristic ,which impressed a distinctmark on our spirit and is useful for us to carry out sandbodyresearch.The oil deposits in Daqing Xingnan area are formed in theshallow fluvial deltaic sedimentary environment, On the base ofmodern sedimentary observation and according to the practical needof oilfield development, the author proceeded with the methodresearch of identifying the single channel from the complexsand-body by utilizing abundant dense pattern well logging curvesin Xing13 zone, and carried out the work from two aspect. The singlesand layer was identified by searching for the deposited surfacein vertical and the single sand-body was recognized according tothe well logging curves shape and the difference of layer positionin horizontal, finally a series of method to identifying the singlechannel from complex sand-body is set up , which make us improvethe recognition degree to the kind of sand-body.In order to verify the practicability of the method, theidentification and verification procedure were preformed to thecomplex sand-body in PI31 and PI32 sedimentary unite of the westzone in Xing89 area. It is include two procedures. First, thesingle channel was identified from complex sand-body on the baseof the data derived from 305 base wells that were filled. Secondly,the results were verified according to the data of 195 drills thathad been filled. The total accurate rate is 85.9 percent, whichshows that the method is feasible.The identification of single channel to complex sand-body hasimproved the recognition degree about inner characteristic andproducing state of the kind of sand-body.The procedures are modern sendimentary observation, researchof method to identification single channel from complex sandbody,analyse of practicability to the method and evaluating aboutapplication effection.
