We study the macroscopic quantum tunneling of the ground state of the F=l spinor condensate with dipole-dipole interaction under external magnetic fields. In different areas, using the spin coherent states path integral method, we show that the ground state energy and the effective magnetic moment of the system exhibit an interesting macroscopic quantum oscillation (MQO) phenomenon. Tunneling between two degenerate minima are analyzed by means of an effective potential method and periodic instanton method.
