Timely dynamic about plant biomass and rodent communities biomass pattern were analyzed under different disturbance in Alashan Desert of Inner Mongolia in 2002~2005. Yearly average biomass of rodent population were analyzed by using PCA. Correlative action between rodent communities biomass, biomass diversity indices, biomass evenness indices and plant community parameter, correlative action between rodent communities biomass, biomass diversity indices, biomass evenness indices and abiotic factors(soil and climatic factors)were investigated by using Canonical Correlations Analysis. When plant communities parameter and abiotic factors(soil and climatic factors)were regarded as independent variable, every species population biomass relative percent were analyzed by STEPWISE analysis in rodent communities. Lastly, easy correlative analysis(Pearson) were done between plant communities and abiotic factors(soil and climatic factors). The results showed:(1)The above-ground biomass of shrub and herb was significantly different in different disturbance areas in every years(2002~2005).The characteristic was more similar as follows: The above-ground biomass of most shrub was the highest on every area in summer (7 month). The above-ground biomass of most herb was the highest on every area in autumn(10 month). The evenness indices of rodent community biomass were comparatively analyzed and showed : Action of different disturbance on rodent community biomass was significantly different in Alashan Desert. Especially, the average of evenness indices of rodent community biomass were all the lowest under over-grazing disturbance in every years(2002~2005).(2)Rodent communities biomass pattern were more same on farmland area and forbid grazing area in every spring, summer and autumn in four years(2002~2005).Rodent communities biomass pattern varied more bigger on rotational grazing area and over grazing area in every spring, summer and autumn in four years(2002~2005) and the most significant in summer. Total average biomass value was farmland area>over grazing area>forbid grazing area>rotational grazing area in every seasons in four years. Yearly average biomass pattern of rodent was different in different habitats.(3) The action with each other was significantly different between rodent communities and plant communities under different human disturbance. Correlative action was more...
