The effective organization and management of geography information is one important research field in Web-GIS applications. Because geography information have large, multi-dimensional and complicated properties, how to manage and use these information well lie on the organization pattern of spatial data, however, with the applications developing more deeply than before, the new requirements of map multi-dimensional operation have been bring forward, these new requirements have induced the study of multi-scale display support system become a hot research field.In this thesis, a new spatial data organize pattern is proposed and deeply studied, the main work and creative results are as follows:Firstly, the reasons which lead to the low efficiency during the access and query of existed multi-scale data model in small scale are analyzed, furthermore, combining the importance level and choice factor, a new object split method is proposed.Then, the efficiency of spatial data access has been improved further by saving the query results gathering. Combing this data organization method, a data structure that can respond quickly to the scale progressive access is erected, and an algorithm which based on the data structure is proposed.Lastly, the application of the proposed multi-scale map organization pattern is discussed and the efficiency of this pattern is verified on the basis of a Spring framework Web-GIS system.
