Mainly has carried on the discussion to the TOPMODEL core -topgraphic index computational method, through to three kind of computational methods comparison, the single flow direction algorithm, multiple flow direction algorithm and improved multiple flow direction algorithm for the topographic index, to obtain the improved multiple flow direction algorithm to be able to reflect the actual situation, can provide more basement for the calculation of the topographic index, widen the prospect for the TOPMODEL promoted application.This article uses object-oriented Visual Basic senior programming tool, rewrotes the TOPMODEL model software, this model system contact surface friendly, the function is strong. Applies this system in the Xingfeng catchment of the Dongjiang catchment, the simulation precision is high.
