Abstract/Summary:
The numerical calculating method of elastic release coefficients in blind hole is mainly researched in this paper, besides, the utility of each method is discussed. Based on experimental results, a new numerical calculating method by finite element method has been obtained in which the manufacture harden is simulated by increasing the elastic modulus of the material around the hole. The relationships are obtained that the release coefficients vary with the manufacture harden and hole depth.In order to obtain the better numerical simulation method for the release coefficients, three kinds of models have been used, such as using all strain on the strain gauge, using the strain in the middle point of the strain gauge and model with taper in the blind hole bottom. By comparing the calculating results, It can be found that although the method using strain in the middle point of the strain gauge is easy in meshing, it has less precise;The numerical simulation method in which all strain on the strain gauge are used to calculate the release coefficients without taper in the hole bottom can mesh much easily and has high calculating precision.
