It's a very important research project that aim at looking for potential oil and gasresource at exploitation area of JD oilfield about research of source rock and reservoirin Dongying Formation, which has great effect on development and exploration in thefuture .A lot of research work on source rock in Shahejie Formation was conducted bypredecessors before, but hydrocarbon generation potential of source rock , origin ofreservoir and distribution feature of Dongying Formation are not clear yet, which willbe solved in this thesis. The thesis is under the research just because of these problem.After collecting samples of source rock and crude oil, some geochemical analysis,such as microscopical component, reflectance of vitrinite, chloroform asphaltum "A",bulk composition of oil, gas chromatography (GC), GC-MS and isotope compositionare performed in laboratory. Comparing geochemistry indexes of DongYingFormation with that of ShaHeJie Formation, the maturity of source rock of DongYing(Ro) is low(laboratory values about (0.49~0.81%):source rock in Ed3 is alreadymature ,while source rock in Ed2 and Ed1 are in the stage between immature and lowmature .Quality of organic mater in Ed3 is the best among source rock in DongYingFormation. During rock-oil correlation, it is confirmed that reservoir of DongYing andover DongYing mostly originate from source rock of DongYing Fomation ,especiallyreservoirs south to GaoLiu fault .At the same time, all oil has relation with lowlymature feature. It is apparent that immature and lowl mature source rockes ofDongYing have great contribution to reservoirs of Dongying Formation.Research of reservoir prove that there are two stages of oil fillings (10~8 Ma and4~2 Ma)and we get a conclusion that reservoirs are mainly controlled by main faults.According to petroleum system, we use PetroMod to simulate the process ofreservoirs and then recover its whole process, such as generation, migration andaccumulation. The simulation result further confirmed that conclusion mentiondedabove are out of question.
