At present, geophysical data processing fields have a lot of shortages(e.g.enormous data information and tremendous calculation), and there are a lot ofinconvenience for user to process and analyze geophysical data. This problemrestricted the development of geophysical data processing technology. At first, if we process geophysical data by a single personal computer, thecalculation of processing data is so much that we should spend a lot of time to wait forthe result of calculation. Secondly, distributed computing projects have been designed to make use of thecomputers within network by distribute operate system via the network. Thedisadvantage of this resolution is so much that we would not like to use it, and it isexpensive to build the distributed network system, there are many difficulties for userto master distributed calculatation technology. For the sake of above all, we designed the distributed application system forphysical geography data process. This system is based on distributed computing technology which solves a largeproblem by giving small parts of the problem to many computers to solve and thencombining the solutions from the parts into a solution for the problem, and the systemcan run on the common network existing our office. This system make good use of our office's network resource to server us. Thesystem can be easy to rebuild and upgrade on-line. The system can real-timelymanage all network resource to share payload automatically. The system can be easytransplant to other operation system.
