The Design Of Geographical Information Distributed Service System

With the rapid development of geographical information industry, geographical information has already been more extensively applied in each realm of national economy. Every trade needs more and more geographical information which is used more and more widely. Effective management and maintenance of geographical information data, together with distributed service affect directly the development of geographical information industry. Meanwhile they also concern whether geographical information data can support and safeguard the construction of national economy. Researching into distributed service system of geographical information, providing the society with geographical information inquiry, declaring geographical information data and its products, offering data distributed service, which is doubtless an effective technique. It will greatly increase the utilization of geographical information data.Based on the basic theories and developing situation of WebGIS, combined with the properties of geographical information data such as foundation, confidentiality, share and etc, this paper studies and discusses the key technology about designing geographical information distributed service system by analyzing the structure and function of the database and selecting appropriate structure of system database and frame of system function module. Furthermore it designs and establishes geographical information distributed service system in terms of current geographical data hold by Provincial Geomatics Center of Heilongjiang and the requirement of offering others data productions. Also, it describes an example which represents the process of selling data productions.This paper studies and experiments on a method of designing , meanwhile the research result can give a reference to concerning sections.
