This paper discusses the existence of positive solution for singular boundary value problem of second order delay differential equationswhere f(t, y) may be singular at y = 0. Our main result is proved by applying a general cone fixed point theorem, it generals and extends previous results of[1 — 3]. The paper includes the following four parts. In chapter one, we introduce the background of the problem. In chapter two. we give main result of the literatures [1-4].In chapter three we present the proof of main result and point out that the main results is the nonresonat singular boundary value problem when τ = 0, we give a complete proof of the problem by using a cone fixed point theorem and we discuss an example by applying the theorem in the paper. At last we give the further discuss of theorem.
