The Application Of Multi-Stage Decimation Filter In Digital Strong Motion Seismograph

The multi-stage decimation filter is a main subject of digitalsignal processing theory. It can be used in high accuratetempreture, pressure and vibration signal measurement.Accompanied with the development of LSI(large-scale integration)and SLSI(super large-scale intergration), digital signalprocessor and multi function filter are naturally used in thedesign of strong motion seismograph. The multi-stage decimationfilter and the Δ Σ A/D convert, as the key technics, playcritical rule in this project.This paper has reaserched several features about multi-stagedecimation filer. First, the theory used in digital signalprocessing and multi-stage decimation filter and the networkstructure of FIR decimation filter. Second, the theory andapplication of Δ Σ A/D convert, while give a method ofdesigning multi-stage decimation filter with MATLAB anddesigning multi-stage decimation filter with digital signalprocessor. Finally,this paper analysis the structure andapplication of CS5376A and design a circuit using CS5376A instrong motion seismograph.
