The Beijing Synchrotron Radiation Facility (BSRF) is the first generation of Synchrotron Radiation Source. Instability has gradually become one of the most vital factors that limit its function. How to improve the stability is an important task of BSRF.A new monitoring and control system, which has been set up in the BSRF protein crystallography beam-line and experiment station in order to improve the stability, is described in detail in this thesis. The system is composed of various beam position monitors and optical elements state monitors. With this system, the performance of SR beam can be monitoring on line and any instability of the source, beam-line or sample can be discovered in time and be expressed quantificationally.In the second part of the thesis, the design of the new beam line for Small-angle X-ray Scattering (1W2A) is described. And the 2 slits system which is used to modulate the performance of light is discussed on emphasis.
