As a new interdisciplinary subject composed of information science, computer science, life science, mathematics, statistics, chemistry and so forth, bioinformatics has become one of the most important fields in life and natural science, and will be the crucial field in 21st century. With the deeper researches in the Human Genome Project (HGP), life science has gone to the age of Post-Genome. But it is a big problem for scientists to analyze and process these abundant data. In this paper we mainly analyzed the 8 palindromes in Y chromosome using complexity and phylogenetic analysis, main content can be summarized as follows:1. In Chapter 1, we introduce the general situation of the 8 palindromes in Y chromosome, and summarize their biologic characteristics;2. In Chapter 2, we analyze the complexity of palindromes and obtain their repeating characteristics in LCZ;3. In Chapter 3, we farther analyze the evolutional relationship between palindromes and we propose that the LCZ of 8 palindromes is the region that is susceptible to double-strands breaks leading to translocations, finally we indicate the probable position of the breaking region.
