Tarim basin is the biggest petroliferous basin in our country, it's area is about 560 thousand sq.km. Exploration have proved it contains abundance oil and gas resource and prospective exploration future. CNPC has found in succession Donghetang and Hadexun oil field sincel990,and their major produce layer is Donghe sandstone. Many wells lie in Tahe area has met C1b1, D3d and S1k since 2000,.Its thickness is from several meters to more than 100 meters, and the facies is very complicated, including sandstone, Conglomerate, Mud stone, Volcanic and Limestone. And it has active oil and showing.Analysing to the source rocks, this paper has disscussed the geological condition for pool-forming,the key time of the pool-forming,the migration direction and the carriers in this area.At last, this paper has .Analysed the pool-forming characterization of the aimed stratum in this area. And And the author has obtaint some important conclusion:1 .Cambrain-Ordovician rocks is the major source rocks in this area.2. The reservoir in this area has the characterization of mutti-stage accumulation. Three stages of hydrocarbon happened in this area.3. Fracture and unconformity controlled the distribution and the accumulation of oil&gas in this area.Connected stonebody and fracture has important influence to the oil&gas migration.4. Infuenced by Himalaya movement, the migration direction has changed.
