Quantum information and quantum computation developed quickly in the last decade is the outcome that quantum mechanics and the information sciences combine together. It aims to accomplish the storage, transfer, transmission and process of information by means of the coherence of quantum states, since it can achieve certain tasks which are impossible to be done with the classical information sciences. One of the important tasks in quantum information is the transmission and transfer. It is an important role to realize the quantum information of photon, so how to realize the transmission and transfer of information become an important topic, in which the keys are the generation of entangled states and the squeezing transfer of light. This thesis represents out theoretical study on how to realize the generation of high-dimensional photon entangled coherent states and squeezing transfer between light beams and the atomic ensembles by means of electromagnetically induced transparency system.This thesis consists of five chapters, we mainly study how to generation of high-dimensional photon entangled coherent states and squeezing transfer between light beams and the atomic ensembles by means of electromagnetically induced transparency system. All contentes of chapter three and chapter four are our own works, the each concrete contents is as follows:In the first chapter, we introduce the history of electromagnetically induced transparency in brief and the main research results. In the second chapter, we introduce the semi-classical theoretical method based on single three-level A atom and the whole quantum method processing given to deal with the electromagnetically induced transparency system. In the third chapter, we introduce the history and concept of the quantum entanglement in detail. In the fourth chapter, we have shown how to generate high dimensional photon-photon entangled coherent states in the double EIT system with the two probe lasers initially being in an uncorrelated produce coherent state and we have investigated the creation of 2-Dim, 3-Dim and 4-Dim entangled...
