Earthquake exploratory is a main earth physics exploring method about to make clear the underground geology construct, and seek the oil and air'storage. In the past, the method played an important role in our country's oil and air storage exploration. Yet, the important work in the earthquake exploratory is the blast hole execution. It affects the work fields and effects in the earthquake exploratory. Before the 90's, our country's earthquake exploration works is mainly processing in north micro-hills areas. The driller use mostly truck system, and the normal circulation rotary drilling. After 90's, with the development of National economy and the exploit of middle and west of our country, the exploration of our country emphasis turn to the hills and mountain grounds. At the present, the main problems of blast hole construct in mountains and hills is: there is no one factory to produce the minitype air compressing engine to match the mountain country boring machine, so all needs import from oversea. But the price of the minitype air compressing engine is very high, generally needs 40 to 50 thousands yuan. The all machine take paralysis to affect the earthquake exploration hole task because the parts of piston type air compressor is shortage inside. The aim of the article is to study and development a cheap piston air compressing engine and to use it in the earthquake exploration engineering and exploring mission. The article analyzes the principle of work and performance characteristic of all kinds of air compressing engine, and find that the positive-displacement air compressing engine can be used to match the mountain country boring machine, and the centrifugal and axial-flow air compressing engine can not. The whole design of piston type air compressing engine application and study based in the lists: Select the cheap, disintegration easily, removal easily, easily access and mating parts enough base the characteristic and requirement of the mountain country's earthquake exploration blast hole mission. The join mode between power machine and air compressing engine have several ways, such as clutch coupling drive, rotating joint drive, gear drive, and V-band drive. Rotating drive is indirect and rigid, and it's unit is rotating joint which has the simple and close construction, the high requirement of producing and install, repair inconvenience and suits for the 0.5 to 200 KW power. Clutch drive way is direct and elastic. It's drive component that fit in no pluse-on force moment is clutch, and it's characteristic is over-load safety and complex construction. It suits for the power less-than 200 KW. The V-band drive type is indirect, and it's drive characteristic is elastic drive, which can spacing distance drive,over-load safety, repair simply, low efficiency,short life, and uses the power about 0.5 to 200 KW. However, the equipment used in the mountain country asks lightweight, easily disintegration, and quickly be assembled after removal; and can intergrade all kinds move, and so we select it. The pulse-on mode of the air compressing engine adopts the no-load drive. That is to say, place the ram head of petrol engine and air compressing engine to two base plates, and use the fold drive to pulse-on. After pulse-on the gasoline engine, drive air compressor will achieve the good result. To see the picture 1.
