The global attractor A0 for a singular parabolic equation and the global attractor A_εfor the corresponding singularly perturbed hyperbolic equation are studied in the first part of this thesis, and the explicit estimate for the distance between A_εand A is also obtained. In the second part of this thesis, the global attractor for a quasilinear elliptic-parabolic equation is studied.
