Study On Reproductive Ecology Of Ribes Mandshuricum

Using the principle and method of reproductive ecology, population ecology, pollination ecology, phenology and conservation biology, the reproductive characters, law and adaptation strategy of Rhodiola sachalinensis during its reproductive process are studied systematically by means of wild and indoor cultivating survey.Wild sampling investigation in extensive was carried out from 2003 to 2004. Long period survey of fixed spot, individual and time was done by fixed plot selection. The indoor researches includes morphological survey with Electro-microscope and photo-microscope in addition to cultivating and germination experiments. Based on the research of reproductive phonological law, distribution character and habitat of Rhodiola sachalinensis by means of wild survey and measurement and months analysis, the reproductive age and age structure, sexual reproductive process and characteristics, asexual reproductive law and alternation ways with sexual reproduction, visiting frequency and activity regulation of pollinating insects were studied; Furthermore exploited Rhodiola sachalinensis reproduction output in four different grade, and reproductive disposal of different reproductive phase. In the last, the reproductive strategy was analyzed. The results of the survey is:(1) The most suitable habitat of Ribes mandshuricum is under the mixed-forest, and the most suitable soil of it is dark brown soil through the analysis of the wild survey of Ribes mandshuricum.(2) Because of the difference of the slope directions and the canopy density, the phonological periods of various samples of Ribes mandshuricum are slightly different.(3) The reproduction mature age of Ribes mandshuricum is 4-5 years, and the life span of it is about 20 years.(4) Ribes mandshuricum fruits once annually, accidentally interrupts.(5) Wind pollination is the main pollination of Ribes mandshuricum, sometimes some insects play a role of pollination.(6) The rates of the blossoming and fruiting of Ribes mandshuricum are closely connected with environments, especially with illumination. The rate of flower buds is in proportion with the illumination strength.(7) Under the natural conditions, the sterile rate of the flowers of Ribes mandshuricum is very high, the rate of seeds germinating is very low.(8) Under the natural conditions, the reproduction of Ribes mandshuricum is Asexual.
